8:55 AM <dougwig> it had the advantages that the core team would merge stuff in pieces, instead of demanding it all be working in one big chain.
8:55 AM <dougwig> it had the disadvantages that it was still the neutron core team, which didn't care about lbaas, and that nobody could find it.  :)
8:56 AM <dougwig> i think feature branches work well for longer running efforts that are part of the core, and which might be unstable for awhile, like the pecan refactor.
